Wizkid unable to perform at Wireless Festival 2016 due to Visa issues

Wizkid unable to perform at Wireless Festival

Undoubtedly the biggest artist on the African continent at the moment, Nigerian Afrobeats artist Wizkid, who recently released his monster song Shabba which features Trey Songs, Chris Brown and French Montana, could not make it to London’s huge Wireless Festival in Finsbury Park this year.

Although billed to perform alongside Calvin Harris, Miguel, Byson Tiller, Vic Mensa, Kwabs, Miguel, Disciples and many others, the musician couldn’t make it due to what has been made known by event organizers as challenge with visa acquisition.

The Wireless Festival is a three-day weekend event which started on Friday July 8 and ends on Sunday July 10.

Wireless Festival in a tweet announced the unfortunate incidence saying;

Wizkid, who was obviously sad about his inability to rock the festival also tweeted apologizing to his fans, band, DJ and dancers.
