Songstress Rihanna will be honoured with the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award at the upcoming 2016 MTV Music Video Awards.
The Bajan joins the ranks of Beyonce and Kanye West when the moon men are handed out on Aug. 28.
In a tweet, the B*tch Better Have My Money singer expressed her excitement about the honour.

The pop phenom has been known to shock and awe in her visuals, from the crime drama that played out in her 2015 short film for “Bitch Better Have My Money” to the bad romance in her fiery clip for 2011’s Calvin Harris collaboration “We Found Love.” Whether she’s keeping it sexy or turning all the way up, her YouTube page has raked in over 9.6 billion views.
The awards ceremony will be headed to New York’s iconic venue Madison Square Garden for the first time in VMA history and it’s expected to air live on Sunday, Aug. 28.
