Just as we exclusively did publish on October 12 2016 the postponement of the intended Ghana Music Week, UK, Chairman of the GMW-UK Planning Committee, Mr. Freddie Annang has explained reasons for the development.
In a press release available to www.nydjlive.com, the chairman explains;
“The postponement has become very necessary to enable the organizers fix a technical element, responsible for delivering an unprecedented event-experience per GMW-UK concept.
He again states “the postponement would give us even more time to market the event adequately for the right impact, considering that GMW-UK primarily aims as marketing and driving the right traffic to the main festival in Ghana next March”.
The GMW-UK was previously scheduled for to hold at the Indigo at the O2 Arena in London on October 21. Artists lined up included BET Award winner Stonebwoy, King of Highlife’, Amakye Dede and the reigning VGMA 2016 Artiste of the Year- EL.
The event has since been re-scheduled to Friday December 30, 2016 at the same venue.
