Mysterious music band Dark Suburb hits back at Prophet for calling them “demonic”

Dark-Suburb

Winners of the Unsung Category at the just ended Vodafone Ghana Music Awards, Dark Suburb have conveniently replied Prophet Daniel Larbi, husband of veteran Ghanaian musician and dancer Akosua Adjepong for comments made about the group some days ago.

Earlier reports suggest the Prophet in an interview described the alternate rock band as demonic and a general acceptance of the group will mean doom for the entire country.

“Check the history of the group posted on their website and you will know that indeed, they are demonic. There is a spirit behind their skeleton skull, costume and their acts. If Ghana embraces them, doom will befall the country. It is dangerous for our youth. As an ordinary person, you will say their style is unique, artistic, creative etc., but spiritually, they are satanic”

However, the music group in a sharp rebuttal has described the prophet’s assertion as a result of watching too many Nigerian movies.

“This prophet watches too much Nigerian films, we wonder what he looks like behind his skin. Those who get it, get it. We rock on!! Satan is whatever man makes him/her and we must stop giving him/her credit for man’s awesomeness.”

Dark Suburb

Prophet Daniel Larbi has asked Christians in the country to pray against such a group as they would have bad influence on the youth of the country.

Dark Suburb is a new alternative rock band caught between the worlds of the seen and the unseen, the living and the dead.

The group’s members are not known except the leader, referred to as “High Priest”. This is because they always perform behind the mask.
