Kim Kardashian opts to employ nutritionist during her second pregnancy. The “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” star wants to avoid any risks that may occur when expecting her second child.
Sources close to the family told TMZ that Kim hired a nutritionist to devise a weekly meal plan with two specific requirements, which were lots of water and a low sodium intake. It’s very different from her first pregnancy when she frequently ate donut.
Kim decided to stick to the new meal plan after she was reminded that she might experience the same problems she had when she was expecting first baby North West. During her first pregnancy, Kim suffered from pre-eclampsia, which is a disorder during pregnancy characterized by high blood pressure and the presence of protein in the urine. Swelling, headaches and changes in vision were among the symptoms that the reality TV star wants to avoid.
Recently, Kim admitted that she often suffered from “really bad morning sickness.” A couple of days ago, the 34-year-old star tweeted on National Doughnut Day that she couldn’t enjoy the celebration because of morning sickness she experienced. She wrote, “Today is National Doughnut Day! Thought I would enjoy it more but morning/all day sickness really ruins things! LOL Maybe its for the best!”
However, she still expressed her gratitude for her second pregnancy. Mrs. West said, “It’s a very different type of pregnancy from my first one, but I’m so grateful to be pregnant when we didn’t even think it was going to happen for us [so] I don’t care how sick I am.”
