Ghanaian actor, entrepreneur and philanthropist John Dumelo has been appointed a tourism ambassador to Ghana by the local government Ministry of Tourism.

This comes weeks after Beasts of No Nations star Abraham Attah was also tipped for a similar role.

In an instagram post, John Dumelo announced this as he shared a photograph of himself and Mrs. Elizabeth Ofosu-Agyare, Minister for Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts. In the post he said;

“Happy to be appointed tourism ambassador by the Minister of tourism. I’m happy to promote Tourism in Ghana and also sell Ghana to the rest of the world. #exploreghana #melomoment #melotourist”

John Dumelo, aside his works as an actor has been involved in several travels across various continents meeting different heads of states and government bodies with business plans and proposals.

He would now have to as part of his business trips carry the flag of Ghana and sell it to other countries.

This does not come to us at www.nydjlive.com as new though since his works are quite visible. Congratulations John Dumelo.
