Award winning Ghanaian sound engineer Morris D’Voice Lovit formerly known as Morris BabyFace has asked God to forgive Noella Wiyaala, winner of the best Female Vocal Performance at the 16th edition of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards for her recent utterance in an interview.
Wiyaala in a recent interview disclosed her absence from the church for the past two years has been due to the excessive noise churches around her make.
“I don’t go to church because the churches around where I stay currently make too much noise which doesn’t invite me to worship with them. I believe we go to church to worship God, sing and pray but what goes on in my area is beyond measure” – she told Flex Newspaper
However in a sharp response to her comment, Morris BabyaFce in a post questioned why the singer would prefer to play secular music in very loud speakers for people to dance, sing and praise the devil by doing the unnecessary than those who will make a joyful noise unto the Lord.
“Did Wiyaala say churches make unnecessary noise praising God and praying to him? How I wish there is sense in what she’s said. You play your secular music in very loud speakers for people to dance, sing and praise the devil by doing the unnecessary and you have a problem with those who will make a joyful noise unto the Lord? Well, I think you must put some clothes on to be taken serious. GOD FORGIVE YOU.”
Morris BabyFace until finding solace in Christendom worked with almost all the top hiplife Ghanaian artists and produced a lot of hit songs. He also had a great single featuring American hiphop artist Ja Rule title “Hey Love”.
His recent works have been with Gospel artists Esther Smith, Manuel, Bro Philemon and many others.
