Family of the late renowned Ghanaian Gospel musician, Minister Danny Nettey has announced the final funeral arrangements for the sudden departure of their beloved.
According to a press release signed by head of the family Mr. John Jeffery Nettey and made available to www.nydjlive.com, the musician who was often referred to as a pioneer of Gospel music in Ghana will be laid in state with a tribute Gospel Concert at the forecourt of the State House on Friday, 2 September, 2016 from 4:00pm to 9:30pm.

Funeral service at the forecourt of the State House as follows:
·Pre-burial and filing past – 7:00am – 9:00am.
·Burial service – 9:00a.m.
·Burial – Osu Cemetery
·Final funeral rites – Forecourt of the State House immediately following the burial
According to the family, they are overwhelmed by the reaction to the passing of their loved one.
“We are just so overwhelmed by the reaction, both locally and internationally, to our beloved Danny’s death and we are most grateful to everybody,” says Mr. Dan Clottey, Danny’s uncle and spokesperson for the family.
“One thing is clear –that Danny was on a mission for His Maker who, in His wisdom, has called him home peacefully. ‘In all things we give thanks,’” Mr. Clottey added.
The renowned Ghanaian Gospel minister passed in the early hours of Friday, July 15 2016.
