Ghanaian rapper, Kwaw Kese will soon be a free man as he has been sentenced to spend a day with inmates of the Kumasi Central Prisons where he was kept earlier during his court trial for narcotic offences.
The verdict was giving by Judge William Boampong today Thursday April 23 2015 at the Kumasi High Court after a number of adjournments. He will also pay a fine of GHc1,200.
The rapper who recently released a new single Yakubu after a name he was given by the prison inmates will for the last time reunite with the inmates as a prisoner as he was whisked away into a police van.
Should he default in paying the fine, “Abodam” will go to prison for three years with hard labour.
According to the manager who spoke to www.nydjlive.com, the fine has already been paid and the rapper would only spend a day in jail. He then moves out from Friday April 24 2015 as a free man.
